Huge Google AdWords / Analytics Workshop!

On April 2, 2015,

The Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council Team (SMB) helo a Google Apps workshop with the following organizations:  MMSDC - Kamar OE, VMX International, J.T.'s Coffee Service, Precise Measures Consulting, The Griffin Partnership, and Fizara.

The team showed representatives of these organizations a presentation and demonstration on how to use Google AdWords and Google Analytics. 

Google Forms Workshop

The Google CLP Non-Profit Team held a Google Forms workshop on April 06. 2015 together with  the Youth Development Commission.The group was able to successfully create Google Forms and Sheets and embed them to the company's website. They also learned to include a link to their PayPal account in our forms for collecting payments from users.

Four Local Non-Profit Groups Attend A Google Apps Workshop Led By The Michigan Non-Profit CLP Team

 The Michigan Nonprofit CLP  team held a Google Apps workshop in Detroit, Michigan on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015. The event was attended by 4 local nonprofit groups. The community leaders introduced the nonprofits to various free tools available through Google. This included a training session on Google Drive, Google+, Google Calendar, Google AdWords (AdGrants), and Analytics.  The community leaders are currently interested in hosting more workshops around the city. If you would like us to come to your nonprofit, please feel free to reach out to us. 

The Michigan Nonprofit team was able to generate interest for the free tools available through Google. Many of the nonprofits that attended expressed their willingness to adopt these tools and use them in their offices. Currently the community leaders have encouraged the nonprofits to create a Gmail account, and start using the basic tools introduced to them at the workshop.

Special Introduction To Google Community Leaders Program (CLP) at EMU, Michigan.

On March 23rd 2015 the Google CLP SMB Team held a special introduction about the Google Community Leaders Program (CLP) at Eastern Michigan University. Many students showed up and the session was very informative.

Google AdWords/ Analytics Workshop In Detroit April 2, 2015

The Google CLP SMB Team is holding a Google AdWords and Google Analytics workshop on Thursday, April 2nd, 2015 at the MICHIGAN MINORITY SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (MMSDC) office. The training will primarily focus on Google AdWords and Google Analytics.

Google CLP is Hosting an AdWords/ Analytics Workshop on February 27, 2015

Google Community Leaders (CLP) AnnArbor/Detroit is hosting another Google Analytics and Google AdWords workshop. We will be working with AGI Construction Solutions. AGI is a small business located within a non-profit called Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation (DHDC). This SMB is looking to invite a large number of organizations who might be interested in learning about Google products and how to implement them within their respective businesses.
The main focus for the event will be to give a comprehensive overview Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
The event will be held on Friday, February 27th at 4:00 PM. The event will take place at DHDC, 1211 Trumbull Avenue, Detroit, MI 48216.

CLP-Ann Arbor Team Demonstrates Google Business Products To Saline Area Soccer Association

On Sunday, January 11th, The Google Community Leaders Program (CLP) team held a workshop with an NPO called Saline Area Soccer Association. The CLP team conducted the workshop during their monthly board meeting and were able talk to an audience of about 16 people. At the workshop, the team presented the benefits of GoogleMyBusiness, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Forms, Google+ and Google Hangouts. At the end, we answered questions about these tools and installed the Google Analytics code onto their website. 

CLP Leads Google AdWords / Analytics Demonstration For The Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation

On Tuesday, January 6th, The Google CLP team held an individual training session with the Director of Marketing, Esperanza Cantu, from an Non-Profit Organization called Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation. Esperanza had already applied to the Google Ad Grant so the CLP team decided to do a hands-on demonstration of Google AdWords and Google Analytics. 

Google Community Leaders (CLP) - SMB Team Workshop

The Google Community Leaders Program (CLP) held a workshop on December 22, 2014, with an SMB (Small to Medium Sized Business) called AGI Construction Solutions. However, they in turn invited a few other organizations to the event and the event ended up having representatives from the Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation, Southwest Detroit Community Justice Center, and the Detroit chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. 

The SMB team went over Google+, Google Analytics, and GoogleMyBusiness.

Knowledge of Google Products

Not all participants were familiar with GoogleMyBusiness and most needed more information on how to utilize all the resources that they receive when they get a Google listing. Thus the CLP team presentation was very useful to all participants and explored the value of GoogleMyBusiness, Google Analytics and Google+, and the potential benefits to their organizations. 

AGI Construction Solutions signed up with GoogleMyBusiness. Other organizations shared their contact information to schedule individual trainings later on.
